Renee Women Empowerment is a grassroots initiative based in Nakasero, Kampala. We are driven by a passion to enable women—particularly small-scale entrepreneurs—to reach their economic potential, and to improve living conditions for vulnerable children.

Vivian Kobusinge

Founder

Kobusinge Vivian, founder of Renee Women Empowerment, is a visionary leader and women’s rights champion who co-developed the Empowerment of Women in Small Business project. She brings deep expertise in grassroots mobilization and program development, focusing on unlocking economic opportunities for women in underserved areas through training, mentorship, and agricultural innovation.

J.M. Hernandez

Ambassador

J.M. Hernandez (@jmtex1022)- Houston , Texas , USA – age 37- J.M. has spent many years as a project manager and sales engineer for tech companies such as GOOGLE, DELL Technologies, and other tech firms in the international tech space. My purpose is to grow RWP to new heights through securing funding, spreading awareness, and supporting the staff both remotely and on-site.

Fiona Musisi

Secretary

Musisi Fiona, secretary of Renee Women Empowerment, is a passionate advocate for women’s economic empowerment and co-author of the Empowerment of Women in Small Business project. With a background in community development, Fiona is committed to equipping women with the skills and resources they need to thrive as entrepreneurs and leaders in their communities.
